Chorus will be undertaking a software upgrade on our check point firewalls.
The following systems and services will be impacted for up to 60 minutes during the below window:
• Thursday22nd January 23:00 – Friday 23rd January 01:00
Note: In the event of a rollback, the entire outage window may be utilised.
Retail Service Provider (RSP – Customer) impacts:
Websites & B2Bs:
• Chorus Portal (SSP)
Maintenance page will be displayed.
• Chorus Portal EMMA (Portal Emulator)
Maintenance page will be displayed.
• Wireline OOT
Will be unavailable.
• Wireline B2B
Will be unavailable.
• Network Events Portal
All new, update or clearance on planned and unplanned network events may not display.
• Network Performance Portal
New performance data information will not be available during the outage and will queue until after the change is completed.
• Assurance Website
Users will be unable to update an inflight ticket, test or lodge a ticket against any Fibre or Copper services. Any inflight tickets will not receive any updates from field.
• Chorus Billing Portal
Will be unavailable
APIs:
• Fibre - Place API
Users will be unable to search for an address or location, retrieve a Place ID, request site information, view active products, open fibre orders and ONTs at the address or location.
• Fibre – Product Offering API
Users will be unable to view available products at an address.
• Fibre – Order Feasibility API
Users will be unable to request a feasible check at an address or location.
• Fibre – Manage Order API
Users will be unable to create, amend or cancel an order, and will be unable to retrieve attachments or notifications relating to an order via this API.
• Fibre – Manage Appointment API
Users will be unable to check site visit and Ready For Service (RFS) appointment availability, reserve or reschedule site visits, reschedule RFS appointments or retrieve appointment details.
• Fibre – Order Notification API
Users will not receive notifications about updates or changes to an order or active service.

• RSP/Chorus Initiated Customer Order Management Unavailable.
• Fibre COM initiated notification to Service Companies will not occur.
• Service Company based customer order updates from WRM to FCOM on to RSPs will be impacted.
• Work Request Manager Fibre Fulfil Updates to FCOM (are not impacted unless components in the COM are unavailable).
• Service Company reschedules.
• Service Company capacity updates.
• Service Company reallocations.
• Data Extracts.
Assurance:
All new work requests or updates for fault tickets will not flow through to Service Companies or from Service Companies to Chorus Assure.
This planned outage is required to facilitate / support a software upgrade Chorus’s check point firewalls.
