The following systems and services will be impacted for up to 2 hours within the outage window. Note: In the event of a rollback, the entire outage window may be utilised.
Some features will be unavailable for use: • Network Events Website - the website will be unavailable, any updates to existing events or any new events will not appear until the outage is completed • Network Events API - any updates to existing events or any new events will not flow through the API until the change is completed • Assurance Website & Assurance API - during the change window, any faults that are lodged that are impacted by an Unplanned or Planned network event will not display the event ID on the fault ticket • Planned/Unplanned Network Event notifications - Any planned or unplanned network notifications sent from Chorus NZ will queue and process once the change is completed • Public Outages map - any new events/updates on existing outages will not appear until the change is completed
This planned outage is required to support the migration of a backend system that is approaching end of life to a new platform.
